The third edition of the Avengers 2024 cycling event is underway, which this year went from Forcella to Villa Vomano in Teramo. The Avengers Bike Village will be set up on June 30th in Piazza Bartolomeo di Ser Paolo in Villa Vomano TE.
Everything is ready for the third edition of the Avengers 2024 cycling tour, organized by the ASD MTB AVENGERS with an exceptional Special Guest: The wayfarers of "Il Cammino d'Abruzzo".
The two sports disciplines will take place at the same time and the travelers will give priority to the bikers for the departure scheduled for 08.30, while they will leave after about 30 minutes to arrive at the finish line all together around lunch time where an excellent Pasta will await them Party organized by “La Casa di Carta” of Val Vomano in the company of live music with the presence of Antonio Di Simone (aka LOU BJOND) and the presenter Gianluca Pierannunzi.
The day will have the aim of promoting sport, healthy lifestyles and the physical and mental well-being of the participants, with a great sense of aggregation as well as the promotion of the territory of our Province with its typical food and wine products.
The bikers with their Mountain Bikes (including pedal-assisted e-Bikes) will travel 35 km with a height difference of approximately 750 metres, crossing the municipalities of Teramo, Penna Sant'Andrea, Basciano and Montorio al Vomano. In addition to any technical stops, there will be two refreshment points organized by "La Sorgente del Panino di Val Vomano" and "L'Azienda Agricola San Lorenzo" of Sardinara TE. Travelers will instead walk on a circular path (Villa Vomano – Basciano – Villa Vomano ) for approximately 13 km.
